NKA-IFK Netherlands has the pleasure to invite you to the 5th IFK World Kata Championships and the IFK World seminar 2019 in The Netherlands.
We are honoured that the International Federation of Karate has given us the opportunity to organize such a major event.
The seminar will cover wide aspects of kyokushin karate such as kihon, kata and kumite. A full training schedule and list of instructors will be announced as soon as possible.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS KATA INFO
JUNIORS
– The categories are are boys, girls and teams
– All participants must be under 18 years old on 27th april 2019
– The minimum grade is 2nd kyu
– Each country can send 4 girls for the individual category
– Each country can send 4 boys for the individual category
– Each country can send 2 teams (3 participants / 1 reserve).
– The categories are men, women and teams
– All participants must be at least 18 years old on 27th april 2019
– The minimum grade is 2nd kyu
– Each country can send 4 women for the individual category
– Each country can send 4 men for the individual category
– Each country can send 2 teams (3 participants / 1 reserve).
ADULTS
GENERAL
Each country can send 1 coach for the junior category and 1 for the adult category.
The championships will be held according to the IFK international Kata rules (will be distributed later).
There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for all karateka's (reserve team members will not get a trophy).

PRICING
There are different packages available. Participants can be present for the seminar only (24 – 26 April), the World Championships only (26 – 28 April) or the complete event (24 – 28 April). Accommodation is based on a twin three star room. The number of three star rooms is limited and will be available on a first come first serve basis. The four star rooms are bigger and have better facilities like sanitation. Rooms can also be used as single rooms with the single room upgrade. Prices include:

RESERVATION
To reserve a place at the event the entry form must be completely filled out. The reservation will only be confirmed once full payment is received.
Participants will be paired with participants as indicated on the entry form. In all other cases participants will be paired with participants from the same country as much as possible. In the case pairing per country is not possible, the organization reserves the right to pair participants from different countries together, based on gender.
World Kata Championships participants can only be entered by the country representative of the participants country. Participation in the World kata Championships is for IFK members only!

Train and bus
– Take the train to Arnhem Central Station.
– Take bus 105 (direction Barneveld). stop at bus stop "West End".
– Walk for 5 min to Sports Centre Papendal.
From Monday till Friday, between 7 am till 6 am is it also possible to take bus nr 10 (direction Sports Centre Papendal). The bus goes directly to the main outdoor entrance of the training centre.
There is also a Papendal-Taxi. Just call the company Linsen and ask for the Papendal-taxi (+31 26 - 474 2295). The fee for one-way is approximately €12,50 p.p. Please wait at the "Sonsbeek - zijde" (Sonsbeek - side) of the Station.
